Join us for the September discussion about Barbara Kingsolver’s newest book, Flight Behavior. Flight Behavior introduces us to Dellarobia Turnbow who, dissatisfied with her life, discovers thousands of Monarch butterflies have migrated from Mexico to her hometown in Appalachian Tennessee. Her amazement is shaken when she is told that they will likely die during the harsh Tennessee winter.
Declared “best book of the year” by both the Washington Post and USA Today, this is an intriguing story of the symptoms of global warming and the coming-of-age of a woman discontented with her life.
New members are always welcome and we look forward to seeing you at the library.
