Like chocolate, creativity comes in many shapes, sizes, and “flavors”. The options are as limitless as your imagination. Join artisan chocolatier Bethany Torino and author Angela Folds as they discuss life, chocolate, creativity, friendship, and the delicious messiness of it all.
Bethany Thouin Torino and Angela Folds are the co-authors of Chocolate Covered Friendship, an inspirational book about faith, friendship and chocolate published by Thomas Nelson Publishers.
As a self-taught artisan chocolatier, Bethany’s chocolate café, The Cocoa Tree, was a favorite downtown Franklin destination for several years. The Cocoa Tree (http://www.thecocoatree.com) now hosts special engagement events such as “Chocolate & Wine Dessert Nights” and private chocolate tastings.
Angela is a weekly columnist for The Franklin Review Appeal and founder of CreativeDayCafe.com, an online resource for artists seeking creative inspiration. She holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science (Mercer University) and a Masters degree in Counseling (Reformed Theological Seminary). Her first novel, Among the Wildflowers, will release later this year.
Grab your lunch and join the Art’s Council for a lunchtime of artistic fun and camaraderie. Guests are invited to bring a piece of their own artwork to share with the group. For more information, visit http://www.artscouncilwc.org.
