Want to learn a bit more about Facebook now that you are here, as in here reading this? This class covers creating an individual profile, the newsfeed, networking, privacy settings, creating an avatar, navigation, applications and status updates.
Registration is required. Computer classes on held in the Computer Center on the second floor. Participants should bring their Facebook login information or come with an email address in case they decide to sign up for it. I am the instructor and I do not know your password. The class is more fun if you can log in and follow along or bring a friend with an account to watch along if you are undecided about joining the Facebook social network.
All Library programs are free and open to the public. Call the Library at 615-595-1243 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions and want to sign up or cancel a registration. Please note that classes with less than 8 registered to attend will be canceled. Should a class be canceled, registrants are called and offered a one-on-one session with the instructor at which they do receive a copy of the class handout.
