Williamson County Public Library
Wonder what all the fuss is about Facebook? Have an account but need a little more help getting started? The library’s introductory class for Facebook beginners is the place to learn more about what Facebook is and how to use it. Learn the basics of creating an individual profile, using the Timeline, networking tips, privacy settings, creating an avatar, navigation, applications & status updates. It is not required that you have an account to attend. We understand that you may just want to learn more about it and why family and friends are using it to connect online. All participants get a handout to take home and refer to later.
Due to the limited number of computers and seats in the Computer Center, registration is required. Visit http://bit.ly/sep2013FacebookClass or call 595-1243 to sign up.
Can’t attend but need some help or curious about Facebook? Schedule a One on One thirty minute appointment with the Reference Department and one of our library staff will assist you.
