Mr. Bays earned his bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College and a master’s degree from California State University, Fresno. He and his wife, Nancy, who is also his research assistant and editor, went to locations in Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky to get additional context for their research.
Bill Bays is President of the General George Patton Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, and is a member of the General Society of the War of 1812. He has lectured on various Colonial American events and battles of the American Revolution.
