The Ryman Diaries is a two actor play about Franklin native Mary Elizabeth Baugh and her husband, Captain Tom Ryman – the family that gave us The Ryman auditorium. The play tells of their courtship and marriage and of the family’s contribution to our heritage.
The Ryman Diaries was written by Debbie Watts and directed by Tom Dolan. Watts and Dolan also portray Mrs. Ryman and the Captain. The actors will present excerpts from the play followed by dialogue with the audience. This event is free, family friendly, and perfect for history lovers.
