If Brentwood were a car, what kind of car would Brentwood be? This is just one of the thirteen questions in a survey developed by a graphic artist hired by the City of Brentwood to create a new community logo in advance of the city celebrating its 50th Birthday in 2019.
Brentwood was incorporated as a municipality in April 1969 and has grown into the 15th largest city in the state over the past fifty years. The Brentwood City Commission designated twelve members to serve on the 50th Steering Committee to plan the celebratory events which include a community parade, festival at Crockett Park and an event at Ravenswood Mansion. The committee is currently seeking sponsors for the events.
In addition to the city’s celebrations, a new community logo will be created. Citizens are invited to take this survey to help the graphic artist determine ‘What is Brentwood?’ Some of the questions may seem a little quirky, but they will help the hired graphic artist, James Duncan of James Duncan Creative, to help develop creative inspiration. The survey only takes a few minutes and must be submitted by Friday September 7.
