July 1 event expected to sell out
The July 1 Family Beach Blast at the Fairview Recreation Complex is filling up fast! Don’t be left out in the heat! Make your reservations now for this big blast of summer family fun! The outdoor pool will be transformed into a tropical oasis, and partygoers will have exclusive use of the pool for the evening.
Hang out on shore with the pirates or take a plunge with the mermaid. Enjoy dancin’ on the deck with DJ Louis Lee. There will be plenty of wet and wild pool games, plus dry games for the beach bums! If you get hungry, grab a treat from one of the food trucks (add’l cost). This event is from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and requires pre-registration at HYPERLINK “http://www.wcparksandrec.com” http://www.wcparksandrec.com (activity code # 9621).
No rafts or floats, please; pool noodles are allowed. This event is $5 per person (maximum of $20 for a family) and requires pre-registration and pre-payment. Children 1 and younger are admitted free. All children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult over 18. Space is limited. The Fairview Recreation Complex is located at 2714 Fairview Blvd.
