Franklin Mayor Ken Moore Asked to do a Cameo in Studio Tenn’s Production of
Monty Python’s Spamalot
Franklin- The cast and crew of Studio Tenn have requested Mayor Moore to do a cameo in their production of the musical comedy, Monty Python’s Spamalot. Maybe it was Moore’s Happy music video performance, or his Carpool Karaoke last year for his State of the City video, but Moore’s talent will prove valuable to the play. Mayor Moore will be in the Sunday, May 7 performance at 2 p.m.
“I am nervous and plan to sweat a little,” said Moore. “My last part in a play was in high school, but my experience singing and dancing for the city will help. I have confidence the Studio Tenn Professionals will show me the way! I hope to have a little fun and invite Franklin to come see the performance.”
Monty Python’s Spamalot is a hilariously irreverent parody of the Arthurian legend, inspired by the 1975 cult classic movie “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” The play is at the Factory from May 4-21, 2017. For tickets go to http://www.studiotenn.com/monty-pythons-spamalot/
