March 25 at the Nolensville Bark Park
Can your pooch retrieve on command? Or do a trick? Run a dog agility course? Sport a fetching doggie costume? If so, plan to enter them in Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s first annual “Pooch-a-Palooza” dog show and expo, Saturday, March 25 at the Nolensville Bark Park, 2310 Rocky Fork Rd. Registration is open now at HYPERLINK “http://www.wcparksandrec.com” http://www.wcparksandrec.com in the following categories: Best dressed; Best trick; Agility course; and Best retriever. Prizes, including a basket of goodies and a ribbon will be given in each category. There is a $10 fee for all competitors, and space is limited to ten dogs in each category. Sponsored by Pet Supermarket and Shanimal’s Animals.
For spectators, admission is free, and you can bring along the family dog (on a leash) to share in the fun and watch the competition. Pet vendors will be selling merchandise and providing information about local pet services. If you need a new pet companion, Williamson County Animal Center will have adoptable pets looking for forever homes. and food trucks will be on hand for hungry humans (bring cash).
The event opens at noon, so come out and enjoy lunch from one of the food trucks (cost incurred) and visit the vendors. At 1:15 p.m., the competition will begin for registered competitors.
