Taylor Michael is the next artist to perform at the Main Library this summer courtesy of the Southern Trace Songwriters.
Taylor Michael is a laid back Midwest guy who loves country music. His musical roots run deep. Besides singing, his mother’s piano performances helped her win the Miss Tennessee pageant. Both his Grandparents come from musical backgrounds and Taylor’s sister is a singer and musician in the Dallas area. It’s 330 miles from Taylor’s hometown in St Charles, Missouri to Music City, Tennessee. When asked about his recent move to Nashville, Tennessee, Taylor is still buzzing. “I have always been around music and wanted to make it a part of my life in some way. When I found the opportunity to learn guitar, write and sing songs there was no question that I was going to go for it. The impact that music has on everyday life is so strong, it is my dream to be a part of it and make my mark within the music world. Moving to Nashville has been something I have wanted to do for a very long time. It’s a great feeling to finally start to achieve all of my goals. I am excited to see what the future holds.”
