NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is reminding boaters of rules that will be in effect on the Cumberland River in downtown Nashville for the annual July 4 fireworks presentation.
There will be no anchoring allowed between the Woodland Street Bridge and the Korean Veterans Bridge. There is not anchoring this year between the Korean Veterans bridge and the Pedestrian Bridge anchoring zone will be from Woodland Street, downstream.
The river will be closed to cruising traffic at 8 p.m. The fireworks show is scheduled to start at around 9:30 p.m. The last lock through at Old Hickory Dam is 1:30 a.m.
