WCS parents of students with special needs are encouraged to attend an upcoming informative event.
On Saturday, September 30, the WCS Support Services Department will co-sponsor the Path to Independence – a DisABILITY Resource Expo.
The DisABILITY Resource Expo is a hub of information about resources in the community available to those who need them.
Aimed at parents or caregivers with children or adults with special needs, the expo gathers agencies from around Tennessee under one roof. Agencies that have participated in the annual expo in the past are Best Buddies, Autism Tennessee, The Arc – Tennessee, the Special Olympics and many more.
The expo will take place from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Freedom Middle School, which is located at 750 New Highway 96 W, Franklin, Tennessee.
