Parent leaders in Williamson County Schools will have the opportunity to build relationships and meet with local businesses that could benefit the PTOs on April 21 at the 2017 PTO Vendor Expo. held at the WCS Professional Development Building in Franklin.
The expo will run from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Admission is free and there will be door prize drawings as well. PTO members will have the chance to socialize and network with other PTO members.
Parent leaders may also participate in a PTO leadership training session scheduled for May 5 from 9 a.m. to noon.
PTO Leaders 101 will begin with treasurer tips and information from WCS Deputy Superintendent Jason Golden about the legalities involved with PTOs.
Only PTO members and Booster Club members are invited to attend these two events.
