The Williamson County School Board is considering eliminating class rank.
The Board discussed the policy change at its March 6 meeting. A policy must go through six readings before it can be approved.
The policy will be discussed at the School Board’s March 16 work session meeting, followed by the March 27 Board meeting. To view the proposed policy, go to the Board’s work session agenda and click on the attachment labeled 4.600 Report Cards and Grading Systems 1st Reading Blue (located on page 3).
The policy could be adopted as early as the April 17 School Board meeting.
