🦋 I believe this is Neville Goddard wisdom. He, Dr. Joseph Murphy, Catherine Ponder, Florence Scovel-Shin and others, the original so-called ‘New Thought’ leaders, were wise in distilling ancient spiritual wisdom of the east, and scriptural wisdom of the west to help man comprehend and harness the power of the mind, the law of belief, and the reality of the creative function of perception.

I credit my own complete and ongoing #surrender to spirit years back, and my daily meditation and affirmative spoken word-based decree practice that continues to this day for turning my ship around. For alinging me with all the wonder and blessings that continue to unfold in my life and work.

It’s also the basis of my energy psychology-based Subconscious Heal and Release® approach.

I’ve come to understand though, contrary to what Goddard espouses in this passage, that’s it’s not the Self that neess persuading. It’s the parts (subpersonalities) within us thrust into both highly protective and wound carrying functions that need relief and undurdening (healing), so ALL of us can trust the infinitely whole, undamaged Self to align with our preferred future, accept and allow all the good that flows from it.

Then, when ‘Thine Eye Become Single,’ when we have achieved purity and singularity of #intention, open and allowing of ‘this or better’ and nothing less, without fear, worry, doubt, envy, when our #faith in the #Divine principle is supercharged…then and only then are we poised to attract and precipitate (manifest) our ‘highest and best good.’
