Franklin Fire Station 6 had a very special visitor today. Meet Chief! He is a 6 month-old yellow lab going through training to potentially help a blind or visually impaired veteran one day. The Gary Sinise Foundation is sponsoring 7 dogs, including Chief. He heard loud horns from a fire truck and did just fine. He didn’t even flinch when a firefighter in full turnout gear approached him! Good boy – you get a treat!
