We are just stoppin’ in for a second to say thank you for continuing to remember our Dad.
Dis is us. I be in the front, and my big brother is in the back.
They call me, “The Imp” or the “Court Jester.” Because if you hear trouble, it’s cuz I be da one makin’ it.
My big brother has to put up with a lot from me, but I’m teachin’ him stuff.
Like how to wrestle. Sometimes I bug him just so he will chase me. He’s so smart that he almost gets me every time. And he knows how to head me off at the pass. That really surprises me.
My big brother has learned to bark because of me. I’m not sure my Mom is too happy about that.
And he’s taught me about squirrels and how to patiently watch for them.
When we walk I want to be first, first, and first.
When I see a big dog and absolutely lose whatever good sense I have left, my big brother pretends that he does not know me.
But he does.
Cause we be brothers.
And we be really really good friends.
