Hey Parents-Anyone feeling this one?
The holidays can be such a rush of all the things…
It can have us feeling a bit like this guy.
Overwhelm is a real thing and it can take on so many looks:
Crying
Meltdowns
Shutdowns
Grumpiness
Hyperdrive
Withdrawal
You may even start to feel a bit Grinchy too!
Our best advice for this time of year is this: try your best to keep some sort of a routine embedded in all of the busyness.
An oasis if you will, of calm and quiet.
If possible make it a screen-less moment.
Here are some suggestions (together is better and a great way to re-set):
Play dough
Puzzles
Reading books together
Building w/blocks or legos
Crafting
Drawing coloring painting
