I got to chat candles with an old friend this morning. Last year was a record year for my candle business. I’d be lying if I said it was easy. There’s so much love that goes into these candles. From handplacing the wicks to putting them on shelves at my two stores. I mean, who starts a candle company when people are wearing masks? 😂 Since July of 2020, each sale has been a blessing. The candles got me through financial hardships of being a small business owner during the pandemic. They helped with expenses that come along with losing two parents. They’ve, most recently, helped with the expenses that came with our garage fire, as well as many other curve balls that have come our way.
