I’ll say this… being sober has made me realize that whether it be in personal life or professional life or really just with pretty much anyone I come into contact with everyone just talks down to me or makes snide remarks. Now, I’m not someone who is gonna whine and complain. It sucks and I’d urge everyone to take a minute to realize that people are going through things and fighting battles that you have no idea about. Sometimes all they need is a kind word, a pat on the back or just someone to give a damn about them or just someone to talk to who won’t judge them or talk down to them or belittle them. I’m still gonna be me. They can have their little personal victories if it makes their day better or makes themselves feel better. Just be nicer.
