January 1, 2023 I became an Etsy Star Seller, an achievement I have been working towards since the opening of my Etsy shop in the middle of last year. If you visit OohDolly on Etsy, you will see the Star Seller badge in the top left by my shop’s logo. So much work and time went into earning that little purple icon. To start, you have to wait 90 days after opening your shop to begin your eligibility even if you are meeting the other requirements. These other requirements are: fast message responses every day, earning a ratings average of 4.8 or higher and maintaining that, shipping orders on time with tracking, making at least 5 sales and reach $XXX in sales. Each month your shop is reviewed and Etsy determines which badges are given to you based on your shop’s stats and performance. Star Seller is not a permanent badge, so I must continue to earn and work for it, but I am dedicated to advancing my skills and products and learning how to use various platforms to reach others.
