Last night a Alderman Jason Potts brought a proclamation to Mayor Dr. Ken Moore for the founders of the Father and Son Bowl, Darin and Caree Clark.
Where as: The Father & Son Bowl started in 2006 and celebrates it’s 16th anniversary this year.
Where as: The Father & Son Bowl has a mission statement to champion fatherhood and encourage men to be the loving and strong leaders that they are created to be.
Where as: The Father & Son Bowl has a goal to create a fun and encouraging experience through the Father & Son Bowl annual flag football events and MVP Sunday.
Where as: The Father & Son Bowl has grown every year since the first year, 2006, with only 16 players to last year’s 2022 attendance with over 875 players.
Where as: This year the 2023 Father & Son Bowl scheduled for Saturday, February 11 and Sunday, February 12, will exceeded over 900 players from Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida and Wisconsin.
Where as: Beginning this year the Father & Son Bowl will expand championing its mission to the Fort Worth, Texas with over 200 registered players.
Where as: The Father & Son Bowl strengthens Franklin’s future by developing hundreds adult, high school and corporate volunteers each year.
Where as: Rolling Hills Community Church has strongly supported the mission of the Father & Son Bowl by providing volunteers of all ages – including families with young children, students, young adults, and senior adults.
Where as: The Father & Son Bowl has raised over $88,500 since 2006.
Where as: MVP Sunday is a special day where players come from organizations in our Franklin community who advocate for kids and young men in need.
Where as: In 2023, the Father & Son Bowl will expand its MVP Sunday to include those with special needs. MVP Sunday will have over 150 players.
Where as: The Father & Son Bowl is a Franklin non-profit organization that has had a positive impact on both the mental and spiritual health of all involved since 2006.
