Make your own hibiscus tea or Agua de Jamaica! We grew this tropical plant on the farm last summer and painstakingly harvested the flowers, separated the petals by hand, and dried them for this very special offering. Flowers from “Hibiscus sabdariffa” are often found in herbal tea blends, but the vast majority of these dried flowers are imported from outside the US with unknown growing conditions. We think this hibiscus from Leiper’s Fork is some of the highest quality you’ll find anywhere!⁣

The tart, deep red hibiscus makes exceptionally tasty tea, but it’s also commonly used for making herbal infusions, syrups, and even for dying fabrics.⁣
