MEET THE WRITERS // As honored in his name, Tommy was born in Hafnarfjördur, Iceland. Raised in a musical family off the west coast of Sweden, his upbringing was saturated with gospel singers, songwriters, and recording artists. This led to his passion for songwriting at age twelve, an enthusiasm that placed him in various bands growing up as he honed his craft.
Tommy made his way to the US to start his career as a songwriter, producer and artist after he signed a publishing deal with Full Circle Music in 2018.
He now resides in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife and two sons. This move proved to be one of the biggest steps of faith in Tommy’s life. The transition was stacked with uncertainty, but God was good and divine doors began to open.
Tommy signed with TIM Publishing in 2021. He has written and produced for a variety of artists and groups such as Chris Tomlin, Rita Springer, Mac Powell, Jesus Culture, Sidewalk Prophets, and many more. In 2021, he was nominated for a Dove Award, producing and writing on Jaime Jamgochian’s album “All Things.”
