Merry and bright Christmas-y sightings from last night and this morning at church. ❤️ The Noel sign in downtown Franklin has special significance to me. It once sat on top of the Noel Hotel in Nashville. If you’ve read my novel COUNT THE NIGHTS BY STARS, you know the Noel Hotel was across the street from the Maxwell House Hotel, which just so happens to be the setting for the book! 💚 Years ago the hotel was renamed the Noelle, so I especially love that someone preserved this lovely historical sign. Most people who see it don’t know the story behind its presence on the roof above Starbucks, but I do and it makes me smile every time I see it. ❤️ Have you read COUNT THE NIGHTS BY STARS? It’s set in Nashville, and the 1961 story takes place at Christmas.
