Merry #Christmas, y’all! 🌟🎄🌟
Our annual Christmas family porch portrait will be delayed this year, as well as cards and client gifts! 🤦🏻♀️ We had prepped and planned the best we could to be hunkered down for Christmas during the impending #Arctic storm. But construction on our house and the unhealthy cloud of dust and carbon monoxide from tools it was causing forced us out last minute on Thursday afternoon. We couldn’t breathe and started feeling light-headed, had no idea the exterior brick work would cause such a mess, otherwise we would have planned to be gone! We raced out into the rain in our pj’s and whatever we could grab last minute, and headed to our family cabin by the lake. A huge, and still unbelievable blessing we were able to buy this humble and perfect cabin this past summer and have a safe place to run to and spend Christmas! Another bucket list item checked off in honor of our beautiful late Mercedes LeAnza. 💔
Reflecting on this very long and drawn-out past year, we’re still hit with the impossible realization that Cedy is gone. This has absolutely been one of the toughest years for our family, hands down. And it will continue to be for some time. But we know that among the pain, there is still a lot of light and a lot of blessings to be grateful for. Blessed and grateful for so much, and for the people who have truly shown up for us.
