Last night at the Board of Mayor and Alderman meeting, City Recorder Lanaii Benne was honored for her 25 years of public service with the City of Franklin.
Mayor Ken Moore and State Representative Sam Whitson presented Lanaii with proclamations highlighting her devotion and enthusiasm throughout her distinguished career. City Administrator Eric Stuckey and former Mayor Jerry Sharber reflected on her character, work ethic, and impressive climb from being a receptionist in Building and Neighborhood Services to becoming a Certified Master Municipal Clerk, which puts Lanaii in the top 1% of her profession.
We will miss Lanaii’s good humor and can-do attitude, wish her the best in her next chapter, and thank her for making Franklin a better place because of her hard work and dedication.
