Sometimes we need to reset our day with a good old fashioned puppy breath party. Nine @snooty_giggles dog rescue Aussie mix pups stopped by to see Dr. Susan Murray this week for their initial intake examination, and if it isn’t clear, our entire team took advantage of the puppy snuggles and full hearts that followed!
Say hello to Anaya, Corbett, Kravet, Sonder, Loli, Mitzi, Hinkley, Kaleen, and Taschen! These lil babies received their first round of DHPP to protect against the distemper and parvovirus. Distemper virus has no cure and attacks multiple systems including the respiratory and central nervous systems. Parvovirus is highly contagious and attacks the gastrointestinal tract, causing severe diarrhea and vomiting leading to dehydration and more serious conditions if not treated quickly. The puppies also received a dewormer used to treat intestinal roundworm, hookworm, and stomach worm parasites.
