Taking the opportunity on this MLK Day to spend quality time together and learn a little history. After breakfast, we went to the square in Franklin, TN and visited the new statue commemorating the nearly 200,000 who enlisted to serve for the US Army during the Civil War and were apart of the USCT (U.S. Colored Troops). The statue is a 2021 addition to the square, along with other new markers in the Fuller Story Project.
