WATER WEDNESDAY: Volunteer shoutout! The Creation Care Ministry Team with Franklin First United Methodist Church has been busy enhancing the riparian buffers on their property and working hard to restore and protect their waterways and surrounding biodiversity. Over the past couple of years, they have removed invasive species and replated over 200 native live stakes and bare root seedlings! In celebration of Tennessee Arbor Month, they are furthering their restoration by planting an additional 100 bare root seedlings this weekend, and welcome all in the greater community to join! No age limit or experience necessary. Great for families or individuals. Service hours opportunity for scouts, high schoolers, and confirmands.
