Working on restoring the Seiza position has be challenging and quite frankly painful to get into‼️ Try sitting on a ball, foam roller, yoga blocks, blanket, etc. to boost yourself up so that you can gradually progress into the position. 👍
👉 Warning: do not try to sit for extended periods of time initially, it can be too aggressive, even a minute or two can feel like a huge stretch and effective!
Easy ways to fit this in:
– Playing on the ground with your children
– Checking your email
– Drinking coffee in the morning (if you normally sit in your couch – sit Seiza for the first couple minutes)
